Dr. Jay Goodwin
Managing Partner
Jay Goodwin is a retired federal scientist with more than 25 years of experience in applied federal research with the U.S. Army. He is formerly the Director of the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences. He also served the Army Research Institute as Chief Scientist, Chief of Foundational Science, Lead Strategist, and Research Scientist. He was the senior scientific advisor to Army leaders for talent management modernization, directed ARI’s basic research program for more than 9 years, and was the lead analyst for the Department of Defense’s analysis of the potential impact of repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. He has led dozens of applied research projects and programs for the U.S. Army, and has advised research programs throughout the Department of Defense, as well as at the National Science Foundation, National Aeronautics & Space Administration, and National Institutes for Health.
